This is my very first post on our classroom blog and I'm excited! This site is a site where you'll be able to find upcoming information about our class, school, and community. Please check it weekly for information. I will still be sending a copy of our weekly Language Arts newsletter and our monthly class newsletter via email. There will also be a copy of that information on this blog. Please be patient as I continue to set this up and work out the details. There is a green/white scrimmage tonight at the MHS football field starting at 5:00 p.m. A note came home with your student this week to inform you of this event. There will be a fan feast to raise money for yearly expenses. Football teams from 3rd grade through the Varsity team will be playing. Please come out and show your support! As you know, this is Labor Day weekend so there will be no school on Monday. Enjoy the break and time with your friends and family! ***Next Friday, September 6th is picture day. Please make sure you send your child back with their form and picture money Friday morning. (They should have given you these forms last night. If you need another form, please let me know and I'll send one home.) ***A green note was sent home with your child yesterday regarding the new MGS school hours. This is an important note that needs your attention. This change affects all of us and it is important to me that I answer any questions you might have. Our administrators worked together to come up with the best possible solution to the needs that were being expressed. Change can be challenging for all of us and if there is anything I can do to make this transition easier for either you or your student, please let me know. It is our hope that this change will make for a better end to the day.
